Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef at Hideaway Cafe & Bar in North Goa. The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. The Sous Chef will also collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items, ensure food quality and safety, and train and manage kitchen staff.


Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong culinary skills, including knowledge of different cooking techniques and ingredients
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role is a plus
  • Culinary degree or certification is a plus
