Job Description:Experience: 8 -15 Years ( Offshore Oil & Gas )Electrical Designer is responsible for the design from the concept to detail engineering.Responsibilities will include implementing project policies, systems & procedures. Coordinatingwith the Lead Engineer, studying specifications and procedures for engineering.Key Responsibilities:Electrical Designer with experience of 4-7 years in Physical Design in Offshore Oil &Gas sector.Experienced in cable tray routing, underground cable routing, grounding & lightning protection, Lighting design etc. Knowledge of lighting calculation, tray / trench sizing calculation etc.Experienced in 3D modelling of Cable Route/Lighting/Electrical equipment with PDMS / E3D/ SP3D (S3D)/ PDS, extraction of 2D layout from 3D model and 2D layout with AutoCAD / MicroStation / Smart Sketch.Prior experience as checker/reviewer for electrical design deliverables.Knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA, IEEE and other international codesQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering04- 07 years of domain experience required.Offshore Experience is Mandatory.Software:E3DPDMSTechnical and Business Skills:Excellent written and oral English skills.Strong organizational, planning and coordination, People Management skills.Strong technical, prioritization and management skills.Good communication, influencing and interface skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.Experience in Engineering Design software programs such as: Revit MEP, Navisworks.
