Work Experience Requirements: 4 to 10 years of related experience

Shifts- UK/US only

Location- Noida


Responsibilities:

  • Journal Entries, preparing Financial Reports
  • Creates effective financial statement schedules, audit support schedules and other reports
  • Review reconciliations and financial statements and related reports, investigate problems and organize projects
  • Insurance accounting experience and US GAAP or IFRS knowledge mandatory.
  • Ability to deliver value working on various activities in statutory/Gaap accounting close cycle and deliver results accordingly.
  • Assists in the documentation of internal controls and performs assigned internal control processes such as general ledger reconciliations
  • Identifies issues and assists in resolving them.
  • Learns how data flows through the financial systems to the accounting function in order to be able to identify issues and take action to address them
  • Makes suggestions to improve the business value and efficiency of the work performed and collaborates with the team on evaluating and implementing suggestions
  • Actively participates in increasingly complex department projects and continuous improvement activities. Shares expertise with others to accomplish shared goals.


Role Specific Skills:

  • Experience in Oracle/SAP/Blackline
  • Knowledge of monthly, quarterly and annual book close cycles
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Expense Accounting, Fixed Assets, DAC, IBNR etc.
  • Learns how data flows through the financial systems to the accounting function in order to be able to identify issues and take action to address them


Technical/Soft Skills

  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Extensive knowledge of US insurance and Insurance Finance
