Position: Corporate Finance Associate


Location: Bangalore, Encora (Hybrid Work Model with 2-3 days in-office per week)


About the Role:

Encora is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves working closely with our leadership team and various internal departments to enhance financial performance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency across multiple divisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly financial analysis and reporting for various divisions, integrating data from multiple sources to inform leadership decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to identify and implement process automation and streamlining opportunities within the business finance function.
  • Lead efforts in the FP&A process, driving financial planning and analysis across the organization.
  • Develop and improve process efficiencies, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, Excel dashboards, and analytical tools.
  • Conduct comprehensive debt analysis and financial projections, presenting findings to key stakeholders.
  • Liaise with multiple internal departments to address and resolve reporting discrepancies and issues.
  • Partner with the accounting team to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
  • Analyse financial trends and forecasts, proposing recommendations for optimization and growth.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, MBA, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong analytical and problem-solving skill set.
  • Independent, motivated, and energetic individual with a high level of initiative.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including lookups, pivot tables) and Microsoft Word. Expertise in Excel formulas and functions is essential.
  • Experience with data management tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Business Objects) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working effectively across time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
