Job Description:


Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Automation Architect with a strong background in TeamCenter and expertise in UFT (Unified Functional Testing) to lead our automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in automation testing, a deep understanding of TeamCenter, and a proven track record of implementing and managing automated testing frameworks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks using UFT for various applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and ensure the seamless integration of TeamCenter into the automation processes.
  • Lead the automation testing efforts, including the planning, scripting, execution, and reporting of automated tests.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to automation scripts, tools, and frameworks.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior automation engineers.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new automation tools and techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
  • Ensure that automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and communicate findings to stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on UFT.
  • Extensive experience with TeamCenter, including integration and customization.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as VBScript, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of automation engineers.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium, etc.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
