Role Overview:


We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with a development background to join our Hyderabad team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cloud platforms, container orchestration, DevOps methodologies, and experience in Java development. You will play a key role in automating and streamlining operations and processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software delivery efficiencies.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support scalable applications.
  • Use Kubernetes for efficient container orchestration, deployment, and scaling of applications.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams, leveraging your programming expertise, particularly in Java, to ensure seamless integration of code and infrastructure.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Optimize system performance and improve deployment processes through automation.
  • Ensure security compliance and best practices are followed across cloud environments.


Key Requirements:


  • Advanced proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with experience in cloud infrastructure deployment.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.
  • Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Development background with programming skills in Java; experience in Java development is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar positions, preferably with a development background.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell for automation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
