Job Title: HCM Specialist – India Payroll & New Tax Regime

Location: Hybrid at Hyderabad or bangalore

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HCM Specialist with expertise in India Payroll and hands-on experience with the new tax regime. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize human capital management processes, ensuring compliance with Indian payroll regulations and tax policies. This role requires in-depth knowledge of payroll systems, tax calculations, and statutory compliance to support smooth payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process India Payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory compliance.
  • Implement and maintain payroll solutions aligned with the new tax regime, including updates to tax structures and reporting.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll with other HCM modules.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure timely updates to payroll processes and tax compliance.
  • Analyze payroll data, generate reports, and address payroll queries from employees and management.
  • Provide expertise in configuring and maintaining HCM systems, with a focus on payroll modules.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in HCM with a strong focus on India payroll and tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in configuring payroll modules in leading HCM platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with payroll adjustments under the new tax regime.
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, statutory deductions (EPF, ESI, PT), and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automating payroll processes and integration with financial systems.
  • Relevant certifications in HCM or payroll systems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
