Job description

Role Summary:

The Sales and Marketing Intern will assist the sales and marketing teams in developing and implementing strategies to attract and engage customers. This position provides hands-on experience in market research, campaign execution, content creation, lead generation, and sales support. The intern will work closely with the sales and marketing managers to learn about industry best practices and contribute to the company’s overall business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience to identify new market opportunities.
  • Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and qualifying new leads, prospects, and sales opportunities through various online platforms and tools.
  • Sales Support: Support the sales team with follow-ups, customer inquiries, and preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
  • Campaign Execution: Help implement marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media campaigns, and other promotional activities.
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating and curating content for the company’s social media channels, blogs, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Data Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of sales and marketing campaigns, generating reports on key performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Customer Engagement: Interact with potential customers and clients through social media, email, and other communication channels to increase engagement.
  • Event Coordination: Help plan and execute marketing events, webinars, or trade shows to promote the company’s products or services.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing and sales strategies with broader company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing strategies and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices.
