Translation and Localization:

  • Translate and localize content from English to Tamil and vice versa, maintaining the original message's intent, style, and context.
  • Ensure cultural relevance and appropriateness of the content for the target audience.

Editing and Proofreading:

  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in both languages.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure the visual and textual elements complement each other.

Research and Strategy:

  • Conduct thorough research to understand the target audience, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Assist in developing content strategies that engage and convert the target audience.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, content, and product teams to brainstorm and develop creative content ideas.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall content strategy and planning.

SEO and Digital Marketing:

  • Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility and search engine rankings.
  • Stay updated with digital marketing trends and best practices to enhance content performance.



Key Requirements & Skills:


Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Literature, Journalism, Linguistics, or a related field.

Experience: 5 years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or a related field. Experience with bilingual content creation is highly preferred.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in Tamil and English, with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to adapt content for different audiences.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with SEO principles.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
