We are looking for an enthusiastic Game Developer with a strong background in any of the game engines like Unreal Engine, Unity, GoDot, CryEngine, etc., and who is eager to apply their expertise to create a simulation environment for testing our advanced AI camera control systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in digitizing physical objects (e.g., cameras, gimbals) into virtual environments, including replicating physical and optical characteristics, and enabling communication protocols for seamless operation within the simulation.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for game development and a drive to learn and grow with Unreal Engine or other similar tools.


Responsibilities

  • Develop a realistic simulation environment using Unreal Engine or a similar game development engine to test and validate camera control automation code.
  • Digitize physical objects (e.g., cameras, gimbals) into virtual environments, ensuring accurate replication of their physical and optical characteristics.
  • Implement communication protocols to operate and interact with virtual objects in the environment.
  • Collaborate with the AI and engineering teams to integrate and test camera control systems in the simulation environment.
  • Continuously optimize the simulation environment for realism, performance, and scalability.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in game development and simulation technologies, bringing innovative ideas to the team.
  • Leverage knowledge from other game engines to quickly adapt and excel in Unreal Engine or the chosen platform.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in game development, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
  • Expertise in a game development engine such as Unreal Engine, Unity, GoDot, CryEngine, etc. (with a willingness to learn Unreal Engine).
  • Proven experience in creating highly realistic simulations or virtual environments.
  • Hands-on experience digitizing physical objects and twinning their physical/optical characteristics in a virtual setting.
  • Strong knowledge of communication protocols for operating virtual objects within a simulation environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in game development (e.g., C++, C#, Python).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for learning new technologies and expanding skillsets.
