• Ensure the timely onboarding of new hires, conducting orientation sessions and ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.

• Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future staffing needs, particularly for key positions within the hotel.

Training & Development:

• Develop and implement training programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance in line with Centro’s standards.

• Coordinate with department heads to identify training needs and design workshops that address both technical skills and soft skills.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.

• Promote a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organisation.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

• Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and ensuring a positive work environment.

• Foster a culture of open communication, respect, and collaboration across all departments.

• Lead employee engagement initiatives to promote job satisfaction, retention, and a strong sense of community within the hotel.

• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on Human Resources policies, procedures, and best practices.

Attendance & Leave Management:

• Oversee attendance tracking systems, ensuring accurate records of employee work hours, absenteeism, and tardiness.

• Manage the leave process, including vacation, sick leave, and other forms of leave, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.

• Coordinate with department heads to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained while accommodating leave requests.

Payroll Processing:

• Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, and other compensation.

• Ensure all payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and other withholdings, are properly calculated and processed.

• Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any payroll discrepancies and maintain payroll compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Performance Management:

• Oversee the performance management process, ensuring that employees are regularly evaluated and given feedback on their performance.

• Work closely with department heads to set clear performance goals and provide coaching and support to achieve them.

• Develop and implement recognition and reward programs to celebrate employee achievements and encourage high performance.

Compliance & Policies:

• Ensure that the hotel complies with all labor laws, regulations, and health and safety standards.

• Regularly review and update Human Resources policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and best practices.

• Maintain employee records, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and secure.

Workplace Culture & Retention:

• Build and maintain a positive and inclusive workplace culture that reflects Centro’s values and commitment to excellence.

• Develop initiatives aimed at improving employee retention and job satisfaction.

• Lead diversity and inclusion efforts within the hotel, ensuring that the workplace is welcoming and supportive for all employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Human Resources Manager or in a senior Human Resources role within the hospitality industry.

• Strong recruitment, training, and employee relations skills with a focus on creating a positive work environment.

• Thorough knowledge of labor laws and regulations, with experience in compliance management.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency in Human Resources software and MS Office applications.

• Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the hotel and its employees.

What We Offer:

• Opportunities for career growth and professional development within SARC Hospitality.
