Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and driven AI Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in building the Srotas Engine—the core AI platform that powers our advanced solutions. As an AI Engineer, you will work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and healthcare to develop and implement AI models that transform how oncology care and clinical trials are conducted. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and healthcare professionals to bring innovative AI solutions to life.


Key Responsibilities:


• Design, develop, and deploy AI models, particularly LLMs, that integrate seamlessly with existing EHR systems (such as EPIC and Cerner) to enhance oncology care and clinical trial processes.

• Collaborate with the founders directly to identify, define, and solve complex problems in patient recruitment, treatment optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

• Build scalable, high-performance machine learning pipelines for processing and analyzing structured and unstructured healthcare data.

• Ensure the security and compliance of AI solutions by integrating models within hospital infrastructure, ensuring that sensitive patient data remains on-premise.

• Optimize AI algorithms for speed, accuracy, and reliability, ensuring that the Srotas Engine delivers real-time insights to healthcare providers.

• Conduct experiments, perform model evaluations, and fine-tune algorithms to achieve the highest levels of performance.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and apply them to improve the Srotas Engine’s capabilities.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.

• Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models, particularly NLP and LLMs.

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

• Experience working with healthcare data, EHR systems, or in a regulated environment is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
