This is for an experienced candidate who can work independently to process end-end Australian Taxation and Financials.


Key responsibilities & duties:


  • Preparation of Tax Returns(ITR/CTR/TTR/PTR) independently
  • Classification of tax between R&M and Capital
  • Preparation of depreciation schedule
  • Preparation of FBT return and compiling the FBT records and calculations
  • Compliance with Division 7A
  • Preparation and analysis of Interim and year-end accounts and financial statements
  • Preparing tax statements, financial statements, and BAS statements at required intervals
  • Creating and returning statements and documents to clients by set deadlines
  • Researching with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) for tax rules
  • Preparing business income tax returns and statements for audits
  • Preparation of STP and super stream
  • Use of popular software used for Australian tax, specifically (Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB or NetSuite Online)
  • Processing accounts receivable (sales) / and accounts payable (bills)
  • Coordinating with Australian clients and third parties such as suppliers and customers through phone calls and emails as and when the need arises
  • Liaise with ATO, OSR, and Clients: Communicate effectively with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), clients, and other professionals to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
  • Independent handling of workflow


Qualifications & Experience:


  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in business tax and advisory Australia accounting.
  2. Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.
  3. Proven experience in preparing income tax returns and financial statements for various entities.
  4. Experience with self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs) is highly desirable.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software Xero, MYOB and QBO and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Communication skills:


English communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to communicate directly with Australia/NZ clients over the phone


Academic qualifications & experience:


Mandatory - minimum 3 year of end-end Australian Tax experience, 5 years plus preferred

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting

CA/CS/ICWA Dropouts

CA/CS/ICWA Qualified


Experience: 5 to 10 years
