Back-End Developer (3-5 years experience)

As a Back-End Developer at RaptorX, you’ll design and optimise server-side systems for rapid data ingestion, fraud detection logic, and real-time scoring. You’ll work on building APIs and distributed systems that support real-time and batch processing of transactional data at scale.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, distributed microservices architecture using containerization for efficient deployment and scaling.
  • Develop REST and gRPC APIs to support fraud detection modules, real-time data ingestion, and alerts generation.
  • Implement data pipelines for real-time processing and aggregation of financial transactions with a focus on latency optimization.
  • Manage data storage and retrieval across multiple data sources, including SQL and NoSQL databases optimised for high-throughput workloads.
  • Ensure data consistency, security, and compliance by applying best practices in data encryption, role-based access control, and compliance logging.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in back-end development in high-performance, real-time systems.
  • Proficiency in back-end languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js; experience with concurrent processing and multithreading is a plus.
  • Expertise in database management, including SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB), with a strong understanding of data modelling for high-velocity data.
  • Familiarity with message brokers like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ for real-time streaming and data ingestion.
  • Experience in developing and deploying microservices in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with graph analytics and databases.
