Role: Management Trainee - Media Planning

Location: Chennai

Experience: Fresher - 1 Year


Principal duties, activities and responsibilities for the position


1. Devising of Effective media plans

a. Making a Media plan as per the brief given

b. Ensuring executing the plan effectively


2. Pre & Post Evaluation

a. Conducting pre-evaluation and post evaluation of the plan executed


3. Competitor analysis

a. Doing competition analysis for evaluating the Media strategy i.e. channel mix, advertising spends and medium used of other players in the market

b. Proactively ensuring competitor analysis is done on a regular basis

c. Proactively try and find out insights that will help clients and the brand


4. Innovative Media solutions

a. Devise new and innovative tactics for the promotion of the brand


5. Help in pitch presentations

a. Conduct necessary research or scout for information that will help in making an effective pitch presentation


6. Relations internally with other teams

a. Ensure a good rapport with teams internally- Buying, Implementation, Billing, Digital, OOH

b. Also with client servicing teams from creative agency

c. External teams – Clients, Media Houses etc


7. Software updates

a. Ensure working knowledge of all software’s required for effective media plans
