Android App Developer


We are seeking a skilled Android App Developer proficient in both React Native and core Android development to join our dynamic mobile development team.


Responsibilities:


● Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android platforms

● Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using React Native Java/Kotlin

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

● Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

● Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

● Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization


Requirements:


● 3+ years of experience in Android app development

● Strong proficiency in React Native framework

● Solid understanding of core Android development using Java and/or Kotlin

● Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

● Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

● Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries

● Understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines

● Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

● Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

● Familiarity with continuous integration


Preferred Qualifications:


● Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

● Understanding of Google's Material Design principles

● Knowledge of performance profiling tools like Android Studio Memory/CPU Monitor

● Familiarity with Firebase

● Experience with Agile development methodologies
