Commercial Video Lead:


We’re seeking an experienced Video Director with a strong background in beauty and lifestyle shoots to lead our commercial team. This role is perfect for a creative leader who has a passion for high-quality visuals, a knack for storytelling, and the expertise to bring brand stories to life. As the Commercial Lead, you will oversee/be involved in all phases of video production—from ideation to final cut—collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, managing high-profile celebrity shoots, upskilling team members, and ensuring the final product aligns with the brand’s aesthetic standards.


Key Responsibilities:-


  • Creative Direction: Lead the concept, style, and narrative of video shoots, especially focusing on beauty, skincare, lifestyle products, social content, and digital content, ensuring each project aligns with brand guidelines and campaign goals.


  • Celebrity & Talent Management: Direct and manage celebrity shoots with confidence and professionalism, guiding talent for authentic and captivating performances.


  • Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of videographers, editors, and production staff, fostering a collaborative, high-energy work environment.


  • Budget Management: Develop and manage production budgets, making informed decisions to balance quality and cost-effectiveness without compromising creative vision.


  • Aesthetic Vision: Bring a sophisticated aesthetic to all video content, with a strong eye for composition, colour, lighting, and visual storytelling, especially within beauty and luxury products.


  • Project Management: Handle the full lifecycle of video production, from pre-production to post, ensuring timelines are met and production quality is exceptional.


  • Problem Solving: Maintain composure and adaptability under pressure, effectively troubleshooting and making swift decisions to keep projects on track.


Requirements:-


  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years in video production, preferably within the beauty, lifestyle, or luxury advertising sector.


  • Aesthetic Excellence: Proven ability to create visually compelling work with a focus on high production value.


  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in video production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects) and knowledge of industry-standard equipment and techniques.


  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of guiding a team through complex projects, along with exceptional communication skills to work closely with talent and stakeholders.


  • Budget Management: Experience managing production budgets and schedules, with strong decision-making skills to optimise resources effectively.


  • Adaptability: Proven ability to remain effective under high-stress situations and adjust creatively to last-minute changes or unexpected challenges.


Preferred Qualifications:-


  • Experience working on high-stakes projects with celebrities and influencers.


  • Background in advertising or digital content production, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in beauty or luxury lifestyle brands.


  • In-depth knowledge of current trends in beauty, wellness, and lifestyle media.
